| Heh my life has been somewhat interesting as of late; from nearly
myself getting killed 5 different ways in one day, to food poisoning,
and to actually doing something industriously :P.
Anyways, I really just posted this because I needed a place to store a story I'm working on...
Bon appetite.

Chptr 1. "New-Found
Legacy."
Nicholas Stephenson
The dark shadow of stormclouds stretched far and wide over the desolate wasteland,
Perverting the daily lives of the residents of Skaid-Nagash. The small
settlement, hidden right in the middle of Imperial territory, was
conviently located in close proximity of the Lomanunofs Empire's
capital city of Impotemgash. This brought in the danger of being
captured and tortured as an inevitable factor of everyday life for the
Pugni'Hak hunters that inhabited the village.
It is the year 382 after the great collaspe, the
twenty-second day of the month of Kimu. The crackling roars of thunder
droned on and on throughout the storm as the torrenting tears of the
sky bombarded the thatched roofs of the small village.
A deep mechanical groan grew louder and louder as
black spectres loomed near in the sky. A loud click echoed and the
groaning changed into a loud rev, the spectres growing larger in the
night. A bolt of lightning flashed and the spectres showed thier just
as frightening true form : The mighty Imperial Taishak; A massive fleet
of Airships that serve as the backbone of the Lomanunofs' military
conquests.
As the flash dissipiated, the Taishak reverted back
into shadowy spectres. Several reptilian beasts burst from the sides of
village hamlets, bear riders and satchels both with ease. The many
Kogak ride beasts squeezed into a deep, snaking ravine.
The beasts moved as one down the twisting canyon
until the reached a long, straight trench. A loud series of grinding
noises echoed from the Taishak. The Kogaks spawned large wings and
pushed off from the ground as several smaller airships were launched
from the bowels of the Taishak.
Six large Kogaks with luminescent wings moved to the
front of the group, with one being larger than all the rest. A massive
airship burst from the top of the clouds. The Elder Kogaks flew upto
and alongside the massive Emporator airship, and the rest of the Kogaks
followed. The Kogaks and Taishak had become one large swarm that
spanned the entire girth of the grey sky.
The sandy barrens below the swarm gave way to a
bottomless crevasse reaching as far as the eye could see. Rising from
the horizon was a large tower with conglomerate mess of metal panels
shining in the lightning. These panels broke off and started acting
with minds of their own, their only intent being to kill
everything. These bio-mechanical monsters, the Hak'tiru, weapons of the
ancient age long past littered the skies contrary to the combined
Taishak.
A deep, booming voice, full of anger and wrath, shot across the canyon.
"Cur mi i oppugnr ekna tu a?"
A chorus of voices rang out in unison.
"Anagota a oppugnr tu i koad anagota a libru u dess!"
The sky before the tower started to rip it's self
asunder. The rain stopped and the clouds instantly vanished. A flood of
colors gushed out of fissure and the whole world was a psychodelic
mess. A pitch black cloud started billowing from the center of the
fissure. The cloud stretched itself out and slithered like a snake. It
cracked like a whip and revealed a metallic serpent.
It shrieked an unearthly wail and flicked it's long
tail toward the comparatively tiny swarm of flying lizards , ships, and
flying scrap metal before it. It squealed another banshee wail as it's
tail took a bite from the swarm before it, letting the world know the
Hak'Dlugnunt, the Dark Dragon was here.
The Dlugnunt drew it's tail back and it's entire
body glimmered with a violet aura. The throats of the Kogak all started
to glow with a blue light. The airships opened small windows upon their
sides and let out a loud thud.
The booming voice started to speak once again.
"Fi mi i jurornai tu a... tum tu a muv neficor."
Once again the chorus rang.
"Tum anagota a libru neficor!"
Blue arrows of light shot from the Kogaks, and
Missiles and Machine Gun fire echoed from the Taishak. Hundreds of
beams of light thrust from the Hak'Dlugnunt.
Time started to stand still, and the leader of the Kogak riders started to mumble.
"Tu a nodexru dess...Anagota a bineficorni... Anagota a bivitor..."
'You are wrong... We will not die... We will live...'

| Hey, what do you know, an short update. The first time you'll ever see this :P.
Anyways, I'm getting my XBOX softmodded with a crap load of games
and emulators on monday. Later on, I'll install linux on it, but I have
to make some USB adapters and get ahold of a USB keyboard
first.
I'm 80% sure that my family is going to switch to Direcway
and Vonage for internet and phone real soon since god fuckin' damn
Bellsouth keeps sending us spam asking switch to their DSL when they
don't even offer it to us... Fucking M0rons (Heh, Did you catch that
one?).
oh, if you don't know what machinima is, look it up, you'll be entertained. Particularly look up Red vs. Blue

| You know, in orient countries ( Particularly Japan / Nippon),
they say that when you sneeze, someone is saying something about you. I
sneezed thrice in a row for no obvious reason. Pretty odd there, don't
you think?...
Psyche...
Anyways, I hit a jackpot this Christmas.
I aquired some VERY rare games I've been trying to get for years.
Disgaea: Hour of Darkness and Panzer Dragoon Saga are indefinately in
my possesion, and I bought Shin Megami Tensei ( Which the merit of
being the ONLY game I have ever REALLY considered buying the strategy
guide for. All of them are great, and aside from PDS, pretty difficult
(Shin Megami also has the merit of the being the only RPG I've ever
gotten my ass kicked by a non-secret boss.I even leveled 7 levels
before that match ,too...
My parents got me a brand new original XBOX for christmas. At
first, I complained due to my loathing of Mircosoft (which is NOT
attributed to the fact everyone seems to be hating Microsoft because it
is cool or something, but due to an all time low in customer support
EVERY SINGLE TIME I CALL THEM. It even get worse EVERY time.)...
Then they showed me the price... For everything that came with
it, $110 USD :P. That made everything all better...some notable games
to mention I got for it are Star wars: Knights of the Old Republic, SW:
Battlefront 2, and the winner of two awards for any video game I've
played: Panzer Dragoon Orta which takes the titles of "Most Beautiful."
and "Most Bang for Buck." and the random " It has friggen'
dragons, man " award (Good in my eyes *shifty gaze*)
I don't plan to let Microsofts lazy attempt of a console to go
unabused. I've already started to cut up a USB cable and XBOX extension
cable to splice together to allow me to use XBOX devices on my pc, and
USB devices on my XBOX. After I get that, I can install Linux on the
XBOX and switch out the 10 gig HDs for something bigger.Oh, lets not
forget I would be able to play a crap load of emulators natively on the
XBOX itself, play copied games, and watch any region DVD. I'm just
waiting for the day I can crack open the case, break the waranty seal
and cackle evilly.
My little bro got a DS and some good games I'm too lazy to name,
and I'me getting tired so, I'm going the copy and paste the rest of
this post from a post I made earlier.
" Well...If you hate spending too much time with your family, then think
of this: What about
spending too much time with your extended family.
If your extended is A) As crazy as mine. or B). As rude as mine, you've
got headaches abound.
While I'm at it, I'm gonna mention a
world wide video game symphony tour called ' Play! A video game
symphony ' (original name, huh?)(http://www.play-symphony.com/) that
will probably have tour dates somewhere nearby in June / July. Keep an
eye out for it and tell every video gamer you know, particularly the
final fantasy fans. * This has been a non-paid advertisment from ME.* "
I would ask for everyone would read this to atleast comment as my
counter stats are screwed up currently and I need an approximate number
of readers to recalibrate it.

" And God saw the crappiness of Windoze and said 'May Linux be
spread among the world.' Then all was good until a young boy came
before God and said ' Linux doesn't work with my modem...'. God
pondered for 40 days and 41 nights and said ' Henceforth, there
shall be... Cygwin.'"
Okay.. I'm sorry, I couldn't resist that... I'm so happy now!
I've found a decent fix to my linux-not-liking-my-modem problems: Cygwin.
Cygwin is a DLL and set UNIX tools that provide a Linux-like
environment in windows. The DLL acts like the UNIX API, basically
allowing any linux program to be recompiled easily under windows.
However, A shitload of the programs you'd want already come with
cygwin. Even the Linux desktop managers like GNOME and KDE are ported
to Cygwin. But one thing to note : It is NOT a linux emulator. It's
runs just as fast as your current system, and it can even control your
'Real' system. I typed in a SHUTDOWN command expect it to shutdown
cygwin; It shutdown Windows instead :P.
I've also found a song I can really call my "Favorite" song: The
ending staff roll of Tales of Symphonia. It starts with a beautiful
piano solo that's slowly joined by a string quartet. Shortly
afterwards, an ocarina takes the melody, before a small french horn
solo finishes it's line. Then then the Horn goes over into an
increasingly
stronger solo before the piano takes back it's part. With a triumphant
burst, all of the instruments come together in an epic psuedo-climax
and the music slowly decreases for roughly half a minute. A shifting
phrase starts to sound from the piano and a short horn solo plays out
as the strings incrementally enter with increasing amounts of volume. A
strong violin
solo starts as the piano accents the end of every repeating phase, with
more strings joining on every repeat.Swiftly, everything goes silent
aside from
the piano and a sweet solo plays out till a brief ritard and short but
sweet
broken chord at the end.
All I can say is that I love the song. The first time I heard
it, I fell asleep a minute through it. When I heard it again yesterday,
every bit of built up stress on me just melted away. Needless to say,
after I finished all the end-of-game movies I went online and found the
MP3. You can find it at http://bluelaguna.net/music/tos/mp3s.php near the bottom of the page.
Anyways.. I SHOULD be doing my latin homework, but I really don't care ;P. I guess I'm
going to go anyways, though...Sayonara, Bakuhito.

| What a weird Thanksgiving....
I'll start with good things...First off, It was a really good
dinner this year...I hadn't ate so much since the first adventure at
Ryan's a couple of weeks agos. I also commandeered a tiny TV for my
sister's room since I stole hers (In truth, I got one so my siblings would
keep out of my room :P.). Finally, the last happy thing I'll have to
say in this message is that many of personal projects have advanced by
leaps and bounds (TCG, Novel, C++ Tut,etc.)
Now...what first... My computer has been infected with so many
trojans, it is beyond a laughing matter.I manage to delete the smaller
ones, but there is one downloader trojan that I just can't delete so
more of them just keep coming...It's like that crappy Starship Troopers
movie...
Second off, I'm beginning to think my health is slipping from
me.Lately, I've incredibly been weak and tired. Also, I always seem to
have some "minor" illness like a cold, a stomach bug, some random
infection, the works...
I don't really know where I am anymore. I've always prided myself
on finding a dream on pursing it no matter how long of a detour I may
have to take to get there...For as long as I remember, I have known
where I sought to go, and I have always followed the path I had chosen
through to it's completion whether that path be long and narrow or
short and wide. And any time I had fallen down I just picked my self up
and started right back. But... have I been following the right path?
I've always been intent on uniting this world together in defense of
the many hostilities of space*. But does that dream and my life really
have any meaning? Am I fighting a losing battle? I've always swore to
uphold my vows, and I promised to try save everyone of this
accursed race no matter the fact that this race hates me so.Yet, I just
can't pick myself up this time. Am I at the end of my leash, before I
even have the chance of fufilling my vows. Am I such a weakling? I'm
not quite sure of anything I believed in before...
What am I really?
* Put simply we need a space-based military, and we can't legally build one until the entire world agrees. | | |
